Karen Elson and Jack White

Jack White and Karen Elson are the Addams family of rock. The 'Le Freak' cover of Italian Vogue (shot by Steven Meisel) that sprung Elson's career to life and White's White Stripes (and Racounteurs, Dead Weather) is cult status in high ruffled collars, black suits and eyeliner.

Elson's appearance is an eye catching combination of fragility and ethereal strength. White's that of a gothic, vicious-loving poet, a pirate of Rock'n'Roll. Both musicians since this summer, when Elson debuted with The Ghost Who Walks (the nickname her bullies taunted her with during her teenage years) it's been half a decade since the two sealed the deal and married on a boat on the Amazon. A move to Nashville (where most are sing-a-songwriters or country musicians) spur Elson to write her own songs and record. With a little help from her husband who "Cleaned up the messy parts", she gave her music to the world as she once had her appearance when she, aged 18 went on to become Karl Lagerfeld and Steven Meisel's muse. It's gothic, folk and country - a sound true to her voice and sound, as much her own as her freakishly outerworldly appearance of pearl skin and red locks. Together White - an all-black sailor, a wild card but an icon none the less - and Elson seem meant for each other, constructed solely for each others needs and (to be frank) appearance.

Bianca and Mick Jagger

Mick and Bianca Jagger was clearly one of the big screams of the 1970's crazy party and rock n roll era. Both great fashion icons of our time who set the style by being innovative and daring, leading the way for rock n rollers, hippies and party people back when!

The high-profiled wedding in Saint-Tropez, 1971, was a truly iconic moment in fashion history due to the YSL ensemble with the white deep cut blazer Bianca wore, with nothing under. The stylish and over the top couple drove the press nuts and definitely made it one of the most memorable Bianca and Mick moments. Back then the Rolling Stone singer did a more Beatles-like preppy do which he then dropped as he brought on the iconic and androgynous glam-rockich "sex, drugs and rock n roll" look.
The beautiful Bianca who already back in the 70's was an industrious activist and human rights lawyer was also renowned for being a jet-setting party girl who often attended the promiscuous parties at legendary Studio 54 with other famous friends of the time. Her beautiful, sexy looks and fearless fashion sense clearly made her stand out from the crowd, turning many heads, not to think of that time she attended her 30th birthday party at Studio 54 on the back of a white horse. You must be a Jagger to have that kind of swagger!
